Location / Facilities
Lasell College, Newton, Massachusetts
2017 academies will be held at Lasell College. Lasell College encompasses 53 acres within the neighborhoods of Newton, Massachusetts, eight miles west of downtown Boston at the crossroads of Route 128 and the Massachusetts Turnpike. Previous boys camps were hosted at Boston University but due to lack of air-conditioning dormitories, all camps are now held at Lasell College.
Lasell college offers two NCAA regulation size fields. Grellier Stadium has artificial turf while Taylor is a natural surface that received a facelift in the summer of 2013, with upgrades done to the drainage, irrigation and re-leveling of the playing field.
Campers are housed in air-conditioned rooms in Rockwell Hall and Forest Hall dormitories. Both buildings overlook the turf playing field and are within a short walk of the grass fields, dining hall and auditorium. Rockwell Hall offers private internal baths shared by adjoining double rooms and Forest Hall is an upper classmen dorm with suite style living. Amenities include a large kitchen, lounge, elevator and air-conditioning. Roommate requests can be made during online registration or by sending an email to email@example.com. Sheets and towels are not provided.
